In October my doctors discovered a several-pound large tumor inside my abdominal wall. After surgery to remove the tumor along with an ovary and several lymph nodes, I was diagnosed with Stage III Endocrinic Cancer.
I am currently raising money to pay for both the cancer treatment itself, insurance deductibles, and missed work, as well as egg retrieval and freezing. As a young woman in my 20s, and with only one ovary left that will be undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy, this is my best option at future family planning.

Kai is a lifelong resident of Washington State, aside from a five year stint in Texas. Kai is a classically trained violist, and currently works in Youth Programming for a local nonprofit. She is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and accessibility for marginalized people.
In her free time, Kai likes to write, read, and play with her 18-year-old cat named Umi.
